The Regional Ethics Monitoring Board facilitated the conduct of the PHREB Accreditation Training and Workshop and Re-accreditation of St. Paul Hospital Institutional Review Board (SPH-IRB) at St. Paul’s Hospital Iloilo last March 12-15, 2019 spearheaded by Dr. Marita VT. Reyes and Dr. Milagros M. Viacrucis of the Philippine Health Research Ethics Board (PHREB). The workshop was followed by the actual review and evaluation of the application of SPH-IRB for Level 3 PHREN Re-accreditation. Among the accreditors present during the activity were Dr. Fred P. Guillergan and Dr. Edna Medez of WVSU-UBREC The activity was attended by participants from various institutions in the region.
